Fibre cable can be installed in ducts using a pulling method by hand or fleeting winch. Kevlar rope is used to pull in cable as it reduces friction as well as using a fused swivel to protect the pulling force of the cable.
Overhead fibre installation can be installed using various methods. Cable can be installed on poles using cable fixings, fixed directly to the fascia and soffit of homes or by a wrapping method on overhead ESB lines.
