The IFN is a major commercial investment project by eir (via their wholesale arm, open eir) to build a 100% Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network across Ireland. The IFN is a private, commercial rollout primarily targeting urban and suburban towns.
By successfully installing and commissioning both overhead and underground network infrastructure, ICL has been a key contributor to eir’s mission of providing 1.9 million Irish premises with next-generation, high-performance gigabit connectivity. Our crews have been deployed nationwide to execute comprehensive large-scale fibre optic cabling, splicing & testing across their network.
